About Memepedia
The official encyclopedia of memes
Memepedia is the official encyclopedia of memes and the evidence layer of meme culture. Know Your Meme records where a meme came from. DexScreener shows where the money went. Memepedia connects the two and proves which token claimed the meme first, on each chain. The internet remembers the meme. We remember who came first.
Every meme has lore, every ticker claims it, and we bring the receipts. When three different coins all insist they are the original, only one contract actually appeared first, and that is a fact you can check, not an opinion you have to trust.
On the culture side we research with sources, never rewrite them. Facts, like dates, creators and first posts, belong to no one, so we investigate them and write our own words, citing Know Your Meme, Wikipedia, original posts and web archives among many sources. We never copy anyone’s text, layout or images. On the money side, every contract is verified on-chain before it earns a place here.
Real histories, not vibes
Every meme gets an origin, a rise, and a legacy, written from public sources like Know Your Meme and Wikipedia. Dates and names are looked up, not guessed.
Who did it first
For each meme we name the OG coin, the one whose contract appeared first, and list every notable copycat that showed up afterward hoping nobody would check the timestamps.
Prices that are actually live
Market caps, volume, liquidity and charts stream in from DexScreener and GeckoTerminal. No made-up numbers, no screenshots from 2024 pretending to be today.
Contracts we checked
Every token address is verified against on-chain DEX data before it goes live, so you are looking at the real coin and not the fifteenth scam that reused the name.
