Verified on DexScreener as the base token of Meteora pool 7iyWwX51LwktZoYbwjndBGwX98VYm3pqNRGoZLw1tB3s, with a second deep PumpSwap pool at Nx9dcwNs3iJxM5YAxshMHE4aYJHdDyyGMhVcmaSgfu8. pump.fun records the mint at 13:59:13 UTC on 8 August 2026, one hour and fifty-one minutes after the @StarPlatinum_ post whose text it copies verbatim into its own description. The deployer wrote "I will not run this coin. You are more than welcome to CTO it" and pointed the website field at a fan wiki entry for the character rather than at a project site; toad.fun and the @eltoadpepe account are community work built afterwards. No OG flag: a promoted "El Sapo Pepe" token was already being announced by press release on 19 December 2024, so this is not the first tokenisation of the character. Market as of 14 August 2026: about 488,000 dollars of liquidity against roughly 9.0 million dollars of market capitalisation, with 4,764 buys against 4,476 sells and 2.4 million dollars of volume in twenty-four hours on the Meteora pool, plus 9,931 buys against 8,913 sells and 2.75 million dollars of volume on PumpSwap. Read it from those two pools only. At least six later Solana contracts using the same name quote nine to ten billion dollar market capitalisations from single pools with a few dozen trades, and one Solana pool created on 11 August shows 18.6 million dollars of liquidity against 47 trades in a day, which is a pool artefact rather than a price.
