Who they are

Ben Armstrong is the crypto YouTuber who created the BitBoy Crypto brand. Note that the @BitBoy_Crypto handle and the BitBoy YouTube channel are now controlled by the HIT Network, not by him; his personal account is @BenArmstrongsX.

History

He was removed from his own BitBoy brand in August 2023 amid allegations of substance abuse. A 2023 securities class action over token promotion was settled for around 340 thousand dollars in 2024. He was arrested in Florida in March 2025 on felony written-threat counts related to threats against a judge, and again in Georgia in June 2025 over harassing calls. In February 2026 he lost a 2.8 million dollar default defamation judgment to Kevin O'Leary, and was reported near insolvency in late 2025. His personal account has been erratic and largely inactive since mid-2025.
