He shot to fame in 2022 for calling the cycle top and telling followers to sell BTC around $50K, a call that earned him enormous credibility. He posts macro market views, Bitcoin targets and altcoin ideas to a large X audience.
History
After the accurate 2022 top call, il Capo became a permabear icon, repeatedly forecasting deep Bitcoin capitulation (targets in the $60K-$70K range and lower during later rallies) that largely failed to play out. He has been criticized for repeatedly wrong bearish targets and for promoting low-cap altcoins, and has periodically stepped back from public commentary.
