Who they are
ZachXBT is a pseudonymous American on-chain investigator and OSINT researcher active on X since 2021. He traces stolen funds across wallets and exchanges, clusters addresses, and cross-references on-chain data with public records to unmask fraudsters. In February 2025 he joined VC firm Paradigm as an incident-response advisor.
History
Credited by Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang with helping recover over $350M for victims. Exposed celebrity memecoin promoters, the 2025 'John/Lick' network tied to ~$90M in illicit funds, Coinbase-support social-engineering thieves, and numerous rug pulls.
