Origin
Believe was built by founder Ben Pasternak and rebranded in early May 2025. Its flagship token was renamed LAUNCHCOIN, and the platform let users deploy a Solana token simply by replying to the launchcoin account with a ticker, no wallet or code required.
Spread
LAUNCHCOIN exploded, with reported gains in the tens of thousands of percent, as Believe briefly captured a double-digit share of all new Solana token launches in mid-May 2025. In October 2025 the team migrated LAUNCHCOIN to a new BELIEVE token one-to-one on a fresh contract, a redenomination that drew controversy over a larger-than-advertised supply.
Legacy
Believe crystallized both the promise and the peril of the launch-a-coin-from-a-tweet era, frictionless creation, viral speculation, then a messy migration and a sharp decline. It remains a defining crypto-native story of the cycle even as its token trades far below its highs.
