GigaChad is an internet meme built on heavily stylized black-and-white photographs of an extraordinarily muscular, square-jawed man, widely identified as Russian fitness model Ernest Khalimov. The images come from the 'Sleek'N'Tears' art project by Russian photographer Krista Sudmalis. As an exaggerated ideal of masculinity, GigaChad became the ultimate evolution of the earlier 'Chad' figure from the 'Virgin vs. Chad' meme and broke into the mainstream in 2021.
