Supply is 420,690,000,000,000, a direct copy of the Pepe supply joke, with zero buy and sell tax, burned liquidity and renounced ownership. It carries the gasspas.vip site and the @GasspasCat account, and it is the contract listed on CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap. Marked unofficial and not flagged as the original for two separate reasons. First, Matt Furie has no documented endorsement of this or any other Gasspas contract, and the character belongs to his ZOGZ collection from May 2023 and the Cortex Vortex book from May 2025. Second, it is not the first Gasspas token: 0xf56a4A9ae94aeE8F6e9BF737907389c94285AbE6 opened its Uniswap pool at 06:19:47 UTC on 10 May 2025, three days and thirteen hours earlier, and is now run by a community takeover account calling itself @oggasspascto at around 8,200 dollars. This contract won on distribution, not on seniority. Checked on 25 August 2026 it holds roughly 415,000 dollars of market capitalisation on about 163,000 dollars of liquidity in a single Uniswap pool. Why this meme: Gasspas is a Matt Furie cat from the 2023 ZOGZ illustrations and the 2025 Cortex Vortex book. This is the contract that took the name, the listings and the press after the book previews circulated. Clone risk: An earlier Ethereum Gasspas at 0xf56a4A9ae94aeE8F6e9BF737907389c94285AbE6 beat this contract to market by three days on 10 May 2025 and is now a community takeover under @oggasspascto. A Solana pump.fun GASSPAS at GEiYTTw9kUMubQcV4xLT4E2g2zQNbsbGwvnnG8mypump followed on 11 May 2025 and a PulseChain version at 0x55a356151E39e240dCcB3D6e21033381bF304Cfc on 15 June 2025. Separate sites run a Base version at basedgasspas.com and a Sui version at gasspas.xyz advertising itself as the latest Matt Furie creation on Sui. On 25 August 2026 four Solana pump.fun GASSPAS mints appeared in one day, the largest at GCr352ouzNZkNQd3KZqs6jFuQb8LiYnWsEJSUpSfpump with unrelated socials at x.com/gasspastoken, briefly reaching around 790,000 dollars. None of these is connected to this contract and none is endorsed by Matt Furie.
